Reimagining West Main Street:

A Community-Driven Transformation

West Main Gateway is a community project focused on improving the area of West Main Street between Genesee Street and Broad Street. With support from the Regional Revitalization Partnership (RRP), the project brings new life to the neighborhood through improved street design for navigation and beautification, support for local businesses, and funding to make property improvements.

WHAT IS THE WEST MAIN GATEWAY PROJECT?

The West Main Gateway project is intended to improve businesses, properties, and public spaces located within the West Main Street corridor to create a safe, and more welcoming place for everyone. The project will upgrade sidewalks and buildings and offer grant funds for small businesses by listening to the ideas of people who live and work here.

This initiative is part of the $300M Regional Revitalization Partnership (RRP), which also supports communities in Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
